Shortcuts for Setting/Navigating to Bookmarks: sb and gb
« on: December 11, 2007, 02:43:40 PM »
Use the SlickEdit commands sb (short for set_bookmark) and gb (short for goto_bookmark) for quickly setting, naming, and navigating to bookmarks. Append the sb command with a character or text string, and a bookmark is instantly set using the value for the name. Then you can navigate to that bookmark by appending the gb command with the same character or string used to set the bookmark. For example, open the SlickEdit command line and type sb main1, then press Enter. A bookmark is created on the current line named "main1". When you need to return to the bookmark, open the command line and type gb main1, then press Enter.
