Debug Other Executable on Mac OS - connection refused
« on: July 22, 2010, 12:08:57 am »
I was using SlickEdit debugging GUI a lot on Linux exactly the same way -- a binary is built using some external make system, then I choose "Debug Other Executable" and go from there.

Now I need to do the same on Mac , and whatever I try , the response is "Error starting debugger - Connection refused" .  I tried changing port number for vsdebugio in settings to some random ports instead of default 8001, but this did not help.

If I start the same program and then attach to it - debugger works fine (/usr/bin/gdb)

Please advise..

Thanks,
Pavel.
