Beta 8: window-left vs. next-window
« on: June 18, 2013, 10:22:24 pm »
It appears window-left (or -right or -above or -below) will only switch between tabs in a certain window.  If I window-left and I'm all the way left, the status bar says "There is no window over there".  next-window will switch between all open tabs.

Would you please add an option to switch windows if you window-left and you're already all the way left but there are other windows open?  I would say always switch to other windows, but I can see an argument for both cases.

Thanks.

I think you mean you want window-left and the other similar commands to switch to windows in other MDI windows (maybe floating near by). This would be a great enhancement and it's definitely doable.
