SE 19 Linux: Line Comment Color Coding Problem

I was trying to add a "New Line comment" for a user defined language and I'm seeing something odd.  If I add "Use delimiter": "2:" or "1:" then hit Apply then OK.  The line comment does not work.  When I return to check the setting I find the "2:" has changed to "2+" and the "1:" has changed to "1+".  Is there something special about having a number then a colon?    Does this delimiter support regular expressions or something of the sort?  A regular expression would be a welcome development.

Reproduced.  I'll see what's going on.

I have a fix for this, but unfortunately it is not hot-fixable, so it won't be available until 19.0.2.  The problem was with any delimiter that began with a digit.

Thanks so much for the information. 

Am I also correct is assuming this does not support regular expressions? I'm looking to create a user defined language definition for gcov but I need something that is "[space][anynumber]:" indicates a comment.  Thanks.

No, it does not support regular expressions.

At some point we will add regex support to the color coding engine. Its on the back burner at the moment but it's on the list.
