My Slickedit Config is in a network drive.
« on: April 07, 2009, 07:20:29 PM »
I use Win XP at work and My Documents directory is in a network drive.  Is there a way to change the installation of SlickEdit 2009 to put My SlickEdit Config in a local drive?

Thank you
Juan

From the help:
Quote
If you want to use a different directory for your config files, set the SLICKEDITCONFIG environment variable (see Environment Variables), or specify the location by using the -sc invocation option on the command line (see Invocation Options). In both cases, SlickEdit will create a versioned subdirectory below the specified directory.
Find it (and more) in help.  I searched for "my slickedit config" and chose "Configuration Directories and Files".

Hope that helps.
Jim.

Great, thank you.  I should have done that myself.
