v2008 tagging issue with html

We are seeing strange tagging behaviors here when working on html files. if we have <html></html> tags. and type a <div> tag inside them, the tool automatically creates two </div> tags, one right after the open <div>, one after </html>.

This happens to <div>, <span>, <a> tags. And we can reproduce it on different PCs. We are using version 2008.

Do you have all the v2008 hotfixes installed?

Looks like it's been fixed. But we are using 13.0.0.0, the hotfix page I found only had hotfixes for 13.0.2.0. Can we get a hotfix zip file for v13.0.0.0? I tried but couldn't install the hotfix file for 13.0.2,

Just to be clear, this is a community forum, and I'm another user, not a support technician.

Can you upgrade to 13.0.2?

If you have a support contact with SlickEdit, they might be willing to provide a special 13.0.0 hotfix for you, if you contact them directly.

Alternatively you could download the 13.0.2 hotfix and turn it into a 13.0.0 hotfix.

thanks, chrisant, I saw your notes before and thought you must work for the vendor since you know so much about this tool.  :)

We are planning to upgrade next year when we upgrade the OS to Windows 7. So I was hoping we can get v2012 instead of v2011.

I will contact the vendor and find out.
