I just got the latest slick edit. SlickEdit 2012 (v17.0.3.0 64-bit)

I use the emacs emulation mode.

In the I-search command, Ctrl-Shift-W doesn't seem to toggle word search. Following is the text from the documentation:

Incremental Searching
Ctrl+Shift+W
(GNU Emacs emulation) Toggle word searching on and off.

How do I toggle word search, while in the Incremental Search?

I can confirm that.  It is documented that it is supposed to work that way Gnu Emacs, but I can see that it isn't working.  I will see if that can be quickly hotfixed.

Thanks for the quick response.
Meanwhile is there a workaround? like a different key combination or a way to set it up?
Also how would I know when the hotfix is ready?

This will be fixed in the next available hotfix, as soon as we get it packaged up.  There is a sticky post here http://community.slickedit.com/index.php/topic,6567.0.html that will update when a new hotfix is published.   There is a partial workaround, you can enable it by going to Tools > Options > Editing > Search and set to the Default search option to Match whole word.  This will set incremental search to always start with Word match enabled.  But still no way to toggle it off during operation until the hotfix is applied.

Please note that the same problem exists in the query-replace command.
