Debugger and toolwindow layouts
« on: January 22, 2016, 05:48:47 PM »
So when you start a gdb session in Slickedit the window layout changes around completely.
I imagine this is sort-of like "Perspectives" in Eclipse?

Is this selectable by the user someplace?
Shouldn't there be a layout (like Empty, Minimal, Standard, Debugger)?

Slick seems to have a separate set of window layout settings for normal vs. debugging.
This also applies to floating editor windows - the floating windows state toggles back and forth between normal and debugging as well.

So normal vs. debug seems to be above Layouts - as it applies to all slick window.
It would be useful to expose this to the user - perhaps as Perspectives?

Seems like floating windows should be handled better. We will add this to our todo list.
